Suspected Hizbul Terrorist Asks Kashmir Protesters To Shoot And Maim Indian Soldiers, Cops In New Video29 March 2017
Srinagar: A new threat video by suspected Hizbul Mujaheddin terrorist surfaced on social network sites on Wednesday. The video asked protesters to eliminate Army personnel involved in anti-terror operations. 'First it was stone pelting and crowds hindering the operations, but now video shows how terrorist are encouraging local protesters to shoot at army personnel. As they would not know where the fire was coming from,' said a source from the forces. The three- minute video shows terrorist threatening to issue a hit list of Jammu and Kashmir Police especially the SHO's. The anonymous man is seen speaking in Urdu where. 'There would be a list of such cops out soon, who are working against terrorist,' he said. 'There is no need to kill the local cops but break their arms and legs to teach them a lesson,' he added. The unidentified man in the video said that a list will be shared on Facebook soon. The video comes in wake of the recent spate of attacks on police personnel in the Valley. The latest incident was reported from Kulgam where terrorists had ransacked a senior police officer's house. It was the third such incident in the last seven days in the Valley. According to police, four terrorists on Tuesday night ransacked the house of a senior police officer in Khudwani village. They threatened the inmates before leaving the house. On Monday, terrorists had ransacked an assistant sub-inspector's house in Dairoo village of Shopian district. Earlier, militants robbed the house and torched the car of a Jammu and Kashmir Prisons Department officer in Budgam district. During these incidents, the police officers were not present in their homes. Police have been targets of the terrorists who have been threatening officers to give up their jobs or face dire consequences. 'Going after families is nothing but an act of cowardice. Proactive measures were taken to neutralise militants in Punjab after they targetted cops,' a senior officer told India Today. He added that the militants were a grave threat to already worsening situation in the state. The alleged terrorist also hails Hurriyat saying that people should follow the separatists.
