Srinagar: The separatist leadership in Kashmir has called for social boycott of 'pro-India political leaders', including those of the ruling PDP, and asked the people to cease all interactions with 'India's local collaborators'. A joint statement issued by Hurriyat Conference asked people to hold mainstream leaders 'accountable and answerable' for 'betrayal'. 'For India's local collaborators (PDP MLAs) facilitating the oppression of their own people, their moment of reckoning and introspection is over,' a spokesperson quoted separatist leaders Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik as saying. Meanwhile, despite curfew being lifted in most parts of the Valley Tuesday, restrictions continued in Srinagar and major towns of Kashmir to prevent the march called by separatists to south Kashmir's Kulgam district. Geelani and Mirwaiz were taken into custody outside their homes when they tried to march towards Kulgam. 'There was no report of any untoward incident from anywhere in the Valley,' a police spokesperson said.
