Srinagar: Separatists and religious leaders Tuesday strongly condemned the suicide bombing near Masjid-e-Nabvi in the holy city of Madinah Munawarah. Expressing shock over the terrorist attack, Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani said it has shaken the entire Islamic world and has hurt the Muslim Ummah. While demanding international investigation into the incident, he said Makkah and Madinah are the holiest places for every Muslim and no true Muslim would ever think of carrying out such a heinous act. 'We can't rule out the hand of Zionists and other anti-Muslim powers behind this condemnable act who are doing it to destabilize the Muslim world,' Geelani said. JKLF chairman Mohamamd Yasin Malik also condemned the attack outside Masjid Nabvi in Saudi Arabia, saying no Muslim can tolerate any attack on Harmain Shareefain. He alleged that the attacks in Saudi Arabia are an act of Kharjees (kharajites) and 'this is actually a direct attack on the soul of Islam and Muslims.' 'Muslims cutting across the lines of creed stand against these attacks. Putting barriers on Ulema and mosques, free license provided to fascist forces in Jammu to inflict harm on Jammu Muslims, instead of releasing jailed youth shifting them to Jammu jails, and spreading liquor in Kashmir are such criminal acts that cannot be accepted by any Kashmiri,' Malik said. J&K's Grand Mufti, Maulana Mufti Bashir-Ud- Din Ahmad described the act of terrorism near Masjid Nabvi as highly deplorable and condemnable. In a statement, he said Israel and Zionist forces are hell-bent to destabilise kingdom of Saudi Arabia after Iraq and Afghanistan. 'Such coward and brutal act of insanity in holy city of Madinah is highly intolerable for Muslims living all over world. This type of act needs to be dealt with full force so that such elements are defeated,' he said and urged Saudi Arabia to take stern action against culprits for desecrating the sacred place of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Anjuman Shari Shia patron Aga Syed Hassan condemned the attacks carried out by terrorists in Madinah, Baghdad and other places and said that a time will come when these terrorists will not find a place for their burial. 'These terrorists have been killing unarmed innocent civilians and they have to answer for these inhuman acts,' he said. Patron Pairwan-e- Villayat, Moulana Sibte Mohammad Shabir Qumi condemned the attacks at the holiest place as act of anti- Muslim elements. 'Such attack must play as eye opener for the whole Muslim Ummah and should unite to foil every anti- Muslim agenda of Israel and America who are bent upon to divide Muslims on sectarian lines,' he said.
