Srinagar: Former Chief Minister and National Conference working president Omar Abdullah on Saturday engaged in a war of tweets with film Censor Board member Ashoke Pandit. An exchange was sparked off by Mr.Pandit's remarks in a tweet about Kashmir-born Jawarharlal Nehru University Students' Union vice-president Shehla Rashid Shora. 'Shiela Rashid *VicePresident *JNU who is a *KashmiriMuslim shld be interrogated. She had also opposed *BabaRamdev in *JNU.*Nationfirst', wrote Mr.Pandit. In another tweet, he claimed Ms.Shora, who is at the forefront of the campaign to release JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar, was 'connected to Hurriyat'. Retorting to volleys of tweets hurled at Ms.Shehla, Mr.Abdullah wrote, 'Now, being a Kashmiri Muslim is a crime enough to warrant interrogation. BTW, it's Shehla not Shiela, but what the hell!!' Taking umbrage, Mr.Pandit wrote back: 'Did I say that being KM is a crime? Ur thinking is communal, not mine. Interrogation for organising *AnyiIndiaRally'. To which Mr.Abdullah retorted: 'I'm a Kashmir Muslim AND I'm not a Ramdev supporter-follower. I'd better prepare for my interrogation'. Later, Mr.Pandit blamed Mr.Abdullah and his father for migration of Kashmiri Pandits. An M.Phil student, Ms.Shora shot into the limelight for her fiery speech on the detention of Mr.Kumar, which went viral on the social networking sites.
