As per reports, Ministry of Home Affairs has asked the state government to beef up security in and around the airports to thwart such attempts by militants in the state. SP Airport, Manzoor Ahmad said: 'We have already intensified security ahead of 15th August and besides this airport always remains under heavy security so even if there is any threat pertaining to airplanes, we are well prepared.' He, however, refused to comment on MHA directive.
