Pakistan Violates Ceasefire In Jammu And Kashmir

Jammu: Yet in another ceasefire violation second in the last 48 hrs , the Pakistani troops targeted Indian forward posts with small arms and automatic weapons along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, inviting Indian forces to react. Jammu based Defence spokesman said. Pakistan Army today at around 1130 hrs resorted to unprovoked firing by using small arms and automatic weapons. Own troops gave befitting reply by using weapons of similar caliber, official spokesperson said and also added that no damage or casualty has been reported on our side. Pakistan troops have also violated ceasefire by targeting forward Indian posts along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir Friday night at around 2230 hrs when they carried out unprovoked firing by using small arms and automatic weapons. This is the third such incident as prior to this on August 5, Pakistani troops had targeted Indian forward posts with small arms and automatic weapons along the LoC in Poonch.
