Srinagar: Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru's family has slammed Jammu & Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah for 'shedding crocodile tears', feigning ignorance about his execution and placing them under house arrest. 'We are not even being allowed to visit our relatives nor can they visit us,' said Guru's cousin Yousuf. Another cousin, Yaseen, said they were placed under house arrest on the CM's directions. 'What he (CM) has to say now? His father is a cabinet minister at the centre. If we suppose that Omar was not aware but was his father also unaware?' Yaseen described the curbs as 'height of dictatorship and cruelty'. 'Hurriyat leaders have been put under detention. People and even our own relatives are not allowed to mourn or visit us for expressing solidarity.' Yaseen thanked the people of Kashmir for expressing solidarity with the family. 'People proved Afzal Guru is the son of nation and the government of India deceived the whole nation. We do not see any legislator protesting against the hanging except Engineer Rasheed.'
