New Delhi: Responding to Pakistani foreign minister S M Qureshis demand to make Kashmiri people the third party in the India-Pakistan dialogue to resolve the issue,India on Tuesday warned Islamabad that such rhetoric could ruin the engagement process. While admitting that Qureshi was trying to address a certain audience,a government source said it was important to allow the dialogue process room to breathe. The Kashmiri people are part of the Indian system. There cant be any third party, the official said.Foreign secretary Nirupama Rao said it was important to create the right atmosphere.Rhetoric will not help.An exercise of mutual attrition will not help and this is a message equally important for both sides and I hope our Pakistani counterparts and interlocutors will understand that as well, she said.
