Deadline For Evacuation Of Illegal Afghan Immigrants Extended For Five Days

Muzaffarabad: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Government has extended the deadline for evacuation of illegal Afghan refugees for 5 days while round about 229 illegal afghan immigrants have left the area voluntarily. The district administration and Police have devised joint strategy to ensure evacuation of illegal afghan immigrants. According to the responsible officers the decision to extend deadline was taken to give more times to those Illegal afghan immigrants who are not yet ready to leave as well as to avoid action against them. On other hand the AJK Government has given seven days ultimatum to district coordination officers of all the districts to gather record with regard to foreign students who are getting education in religious seminaries in AJK. DCOs have been asked to arrange special meetings in this respect. The decision into this effect has been due to security situation of AJK. Grand operation sources said would also be launched against religious seminaries soon. The secrete agencies have already submitted their report to AJK Government with regard to religious seminaries in AJK.
