Trade To Help Resolve Kashmir issue: Sardar Attique Ahmed

Kaman Post (LoC): Prime Minister of Pakistan administered Kashmir Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan on Tuesday said that the Cross LoC trade is a historical event and it can pave way for the resolution of the Kashmir issue. Speaking to the journalists at zero line on the inaugural day of cross LoC trade, Khan said that the people on both sides of the divided Kashmir were showing keen interest in the resumption of the trade ties after 6 decades. “People to people contact will help in resolving issues. Same will happen with Kashmir once people from this side and other side meet each other. This contact would ultimately lead to resolution of Kashmir issue,” PaK Prime Minister said. “Today is a historic day for the people of both the sides of Kashmir. We have decided to celebrate this day as commerce day,” Khan said “I welcome the traders and fruit growers from the other side of Kashmir,” he added Demanding the frequency of the Muzaffarabad –Srinagar bus and the truck service to be increased, PaK Prime Minister said that volume of the trade needs to be strengthened in order to sustain the trade ties. “We are determined to sustain the trade relations between the two parts of divided Kashmir,” he added. He said that Pakistan administered Kashmir is not Pakistan occupied and there is no sign of Pak occupancy in Azad Kashmir.
