Cong Played Major Role In Opening Bus Routes For Trade:Soz

Srinagar: : With an eye on forthcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Union Minister of Water Resources and President of Pradesh Congress Committee Saif-ud-Din Soz has claimed the Congress played a major role in the opening of Srinagar-Muzaffarabad and Poonch-Rawalakote road for trade and passenger traffic. 'Congress played a leading role for opening of road links with Pakistan occupied Kashmir for trade and passenger traffic. People will see in near future that Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road would experience brisk passenger and trade traffic which will yield great progress to the state,' Soz said addressing a public meeting at Zainipora - Sopore in Baramulla district on Sunday. He announced Abdul Rashid Dar as the party's candidate from the Sopore constituency. Soz announced sanctioning of Rs 11 lakh from his MPLAD fund for a drinking water supply scheme in Zainipora. He also earmarked Rs 10 lakh for construction of Kissan Ghar at Baramulla and Rs two lakh for construction of library at Women's College, Sopore.
