India planning to attack Neelum Valley: Sultan

: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Muslim League (AJK-PML) President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has claimed that India is planning to attack Neelum Valley of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.In an exclusive interview with TheNation here on Friday, AJK-PML President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said, 'There is very crucial situation on the Line of Control (LoC) and India is strategically in a better position to carry out attack on Neelum Valley.'He also said that composite dialogue between Pakistan and India, which were started on February 14, 2004 owing to the pressure of the international community. 'After 9-11, the interests of America had increased in the region of South Asia. It supported dialogue process of both the countries to stop Nuclear Programme of Pakistan and eliminate concept of Jehad', Sultan said.Sultan Mehmood also said that negotiations are only for gaining time and India is neither serious nor sincere to resolve the issue of Kashmir. He said that five phases of composite dialogue were completed but there in no output. The result-less dialogue process seriously affected the freedom movement of Kashmiri people, he claimed.Sultan Mehmood further said that he presented three proposals to European Union, first it should play role as a mediator, second include Kashmiri people as a third party in dialogue process and third to start intra-dialogue from both sides of Kashmiri people to resolve the issue of Kashmir.Foreign Minister of the EU could play a positive role in the progress of Kashmir issue, he said.In reply to a question, he said that the policy of new collation government about Kashmir is a continuity of the previous government. He said that the new government should stop back-channel diplomacy and present the issue of Kashmir in the Parliament for debate.The AJK-PML President said that 4-point formula of President Pervez Musharraf is basically to divide Kashmir. 'It is very necessary to present the issue of Kashmir in the parliament to know nation of stand of every political parties about Kashmir', he said. He said that the issue of Kashmir could not be resolved without the participating of Kashmir people in dialogue process. He said that if Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) is necessary, then these should be related to Kashmir issue. Sultan Mehmood demanded of the Indian government to withdraw its military force from Occupied Kashmir, eliminate black laws, instantly release political inmates. He also demanded that all the Kashmir leaders including Ali Gillani to allow foreign visits for present their views. He said that India should remove hindrances for starting intra-dialogue process form the both sides of Kashmiri people.
