Kashmiri Qaida, Taliban Recruits In J&K

New Delhi: In a startling revelation, an Army intelligence report has confirmed that Jammu and Kashmir is facing a clear threat from groups of Kashmiri youth, who have been trained to carry out terror activities on Indian soil by Taliban and Al-Qaeda in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). The report further suggests that Kashmiri Taliban, Qaeda militants are being sent into J&K from ISI posts along the LoC including Gulpur, Jarikhas in PoK. This is the first time that the Indian establishment has confirmed the presence of Kashmiri Al Qaeda and Taliban cadres in Jammu and Kashmir. The report also mentions that the cadres are first trained in the main Pakistan Inter-service Intelligence agency run by Qaeda and Taliban training camps in Muzaffarabad, Kotli in PoK and are subsequently sent to other parts of PoK. The report also claims that Pak ISI is increasing the number of ingress points along LoC in a bid to infiltration along the border. It is also learnt that the Qaeda, Taliban Kashmiri cadres are also setting up safe houses along LoC for an eventual push into Kashmir.
