Life Is Back To Normal In Kashmir After Strike

Srinagar: Normal life returned to normal Sunday after a day long separatist strike and stringent security measures launched by various security agencies to thwart any militant attempt to disrupt the Indian Republic Day celebrations here. Additional security forces deployed in the city and other areas for the past three days were also withdrawn. A number of shops in the civil lines, particularly those selling eatables and vegetables reopened this morning. Traffic on all routes was normal. Sunday markets were bustling with customers. It was total shut down yesterday and traffic was also off the roads. People remained indoor, because of unprecedented security arrangements. Agencies
