30 kg explosive seized in Doda

Doda: Police and Rashtriya Rifles today recovered explosives and ammunition and destroyed a hide-out of the militants during a search operation at village Tariemar near Koshera area under the jurisdiction of Bhadarwah police station in Doda district. Recoveries made from the hide-out include 30 kg explosive, five Chinese grenades, one radio set, 67 AK rounds, one Sintex water tank worth 300 liters, two Khan dresses, four UBGL grenades and four dura cells. The hide-out had space to accommodate four to five militants. However, the ultras were not present in the hide-out when it was raided and destroyed by police and Rashtriya Rifles troops, SSP Doda Manohar Singh said. He added that a search operation was on to apprehend the militants.
