Post graduate college to be set up in Baltistan

Ghangche: A post graduate college will be set up in Baltistan to facilitate the students of Baltistan, Skardo and Ghangche districts, said Skardo Public School and College Principal at a joint meeting of parents, teachers and the public representatives held on Sunday. He said that Bsc classes would also start at the college to promote science education in the remote region and that the college would be affiliated with the Punjab University. Speaking on the occasion, Northern Areas Legislative Assembly Member Imran Nadeem and Wazir Wilayat Ali assured the principal of governments full support to realise the idea of science classes in the college. They said that required funds for the establishment of the college would be allocated soon.
