Three-day free army medical camp ends in Chogrong

Ghangche: As many as 10,300 earthquake affected people were given free treatment during the three day free army medical camp in Chogrong, Kundus under auspices of Siachan Brigade with the cooperation of 1244- field Ambulance Unit. During the camp, modern treatment facilities were given to the earthquake affected people of Kundus Valley. Unit Commanding Officer Col Asad briefed the Siachan Brigade Commander about the over all situation and performance of the medical camp. The briefing was attended by Ghangche Deputy Commissioner Syed Mohammad Hadi and Ghangche District Zakat Committee Chairman Syed Bahadur Ali Salik, who presented a cheque of Rs 50,000 for the free medical camp. The Siachan Brigade Commander and Col Asad of Field Ambulance Unit said they had been getting regular aid from the Zakat Fund and it is very encouraging for the Armed Forces and poor patients of these remote areas of the country.
