Militants Exchange Fire With Police

Srinagar: Militants exchanged fire with a police party in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, where security forces busted a hideout in Rajouri district on Sunday. None was hurt in the ensuing shootout, a police spokesman said, adding the ultras fled the village immediately after the gunfight and a hunt has been launched to nab them. Security forces busted a militant hideout at Bhaigali Nallah in Ghambir Mughlian in Manjakote area of Rajouri district last night, the spokesman said. The search of the hideout led to the recovery of an under barrel grenade launcher (UBGL), two grenades and 85 rounds of ammunition.
