Kashmiri Leader Has Successful Surgery

Washington DC: Kashmiri leader Ghulam Nabi Fai, who had a successful surgery last week after suffering from a minor concussion, was released from hospital on Monday. He is said to be feeling fine, and is expected to be back at work in about a week. Dr. Fai, who heads the Kashmiri- American Council, a lobbying group, was hurt when he accidently bumped into a piece of furniture during the Kashmir Conference held last month. After suffering headaches, he had himself examined and it turned out that he had suffered a concussion and there had been some bleeding. He was operated on last week at the Fairfax Inova Hospital.
