Srinagar: One person was injured when militants hurled a grenade at a Central Reserve Police Force picket near the Jammu and Kashmir Legislature complex here on Friday. Official sources said a hand grenade was hurled at the CRPF's bunker near Hanuman Mandir but it missed the target and exploded on the road injuring one passer-by. Security forces arrested an overground worker (OGW) of militants in Poonch district and recovered from him explosive material and grenades, official sources said. On a tip-off, the forces raided the house of the Lashkar-e-Taiba OGW Mohmmad Mushtaq in Hardi village of Surankote tehsil in Poonch district, they said. During a search of the house, troops recovered two Chinese grenades, a rocket projectile grenade, 10 rounds of ammunition, 40 empty sandbags, 1,000 metres of cordex wire and two detonators, they said. Mustaq was arrested and sent to the joint interrogation centre.
