PM's Tour Re-scheduled

Jammu: Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh's half day tour here, re-scheduled for July 15, has been slightly changed. According to official sources, Dr Singh will now visit Jagti, Nagrota first to lay foundation stone for Kashmiri migrants' quarters and then attend a special convocation of Jammu University. Earlier, the Prime Minister was scheduled to attended the JU's convocation first and then visit Jagti. According to revised schedule, Dr Singh will land at technical airport at 9.40 am and lay foundation stone for migrants' quarters at Jagti at 10 am. He will reach Jammu University to attend its special convocation at 11.15 am. The JU will confer D Lit on the Prime Minister. Dr Singh will have lunch at Raj Bhawan before flying back to New Delhi in the afternoon.
