Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road is being upgraded: Ghulam Nabi

Islamabad: The Chief Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir said that Sri Nagar- Muzaffarabad Road is being upgraded and we are stressing to enhance the road link between both sides of the line of control . He expressed his view while addressing a high level meeting after examining the upgradation of roads in Jammu and Kashmir, which was conducted under the aegis of Baigon. He also said that the dualization of Sri Nagar-Romol and Oori roads are under way in order to enhance the communication through road link between Sri Nagar and Muzaffarabad, while the construction of Oori Kaman Road will be completed till March 2008. He further stated that Peace Caravan Bus Service would allow the families to meet their loved ones on both sides of the roads. He said that this road link would enhance the overall development process of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He also directed the Baigon officials to finish the upgradation and widening of Kashtawar Santhan- Islamabad road till July 2008. He also directed Revenue Officers to finish the work of possession of land. Ghulam Nabi Azad said that they would contact Army Forces to ensure the safety and security in this regard.
