Srinagar: Security forces have recovered an improvised explosive device fitted in a pressure cooker in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, foiling militants' plan to set off a blast, a police spokesman said today. The IED was recovered by the security forces from a cowshed during search operations at Palpora village of Magam in the north Kashmir district last night, the spokesman said. He said the house owner has been taken into custody for questioning. Meanwhile, a Pakistani militant was killed in an encounter, official sources said on Friday.
