Islamabad: All Parties Hurriyat Conference chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has endorsed the proposals put forth by Jammu and Kashmir People's Conference Chairman Sajjad Ghani Lone, saying the concept is supported by the majority of the parties. In order to resolve the longstanding issue, all the five regions of Kashmir be given self- rule, the APHC chairman told a private television channel on Monday. 'Economic independence is the most important part of any independent political structure,' he said, adding that he had not yet taken the detailed view of the document 'but overall the proposals are good'. He said that parties on both the sides of the Line of Control (LoC) should agree on the same agenda, adding: 'That is why an APHC delegation is going to visit Pakistan next week.' Responding to a question, he said there will be different aspects, including political, economic and diplomatic, to be discussed during the Pakistan visit.
