Islamabad: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir cabinet fully endorsed President General Pervez Musharrafs Kashmir policy on Tuesday and hoped the presidents advocating the cause of Kashmir at international forums would yield positive results soon. The AJK cabinet, which met here with Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan in the chair, also adopted several various resolutions. In a resolution, it congratulated President Musharraf and AJK Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan on their recent successful tour of the US as well as on highlighting the Kashmir issue. Another resolution appreciated the commitment of President Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to the cause of the quake victims and for expressing solidarity with the affected people of Azad Kashmir on the first anniversary of the earthquake on Oct 8. The meeting demanded the Indian government end large-scale atrocities against unarmed innocent Kashmiri people and let them pass their lives in peace by giving them their basic right to freedom promised to them by the international community.
