ATC Gilgit circle judge shot dead

Gilgit: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Gilgit circle Judge Jamshed Khan was shot dead by unidentified armed men here Saturday. The honourable judge was walking at the City Park in the evening as part of his daily routine when an unknown attacker opened fire at him. Judge Jamshed Khan received grievous injuries and immediately rushed to district headquarters hospital where he succumbed to injuries. It is learnt that there more than seventy cases including sectarian related cases were under hearing process in the said ATC for the last two years, out which many have been decided upon. Police bosses with heavy contingent rushed to the scene and registered case against unknown persons.
