Srinagar: In a scathing attack on the Organisation of Islamic Conference , hard-line separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Monday said it had failed to represent the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiris and instead 'strengthening Indian claim over Kashmir.' He also criticised Saudi King Shah Abdullah's decision to preside over the Republic Day function in New Delhi next year. Reacting to a recent declaration adopted in Makkah, he said the it had disappointed the Muslim 'Ummah' as there was no clear-cut message to America, Israel, Russia and India for their 'oppressive and tyrannical' actions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Chechnya and Kashmir. Mr. Geelani was speaking at a seminar 'Human Rights and Peace Process,' organised by his faction of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference. He had a strong worded message for Pakistan for observing 'flexibility' vis--vis Kashmir. 'Whatever stated position Pakistan had on Kashmir it should stand firm by it. Flexibility will only work for advantage of India.'
