New York: Barrister Sultan, the AJK former prime minister, said that Kashmir issue would not be resolved by mere opening of the Line of Control (LoC) at different points. 'LoC opening aimed at diverting attention from the solution of the real issue of Kashmir', Sultan said while addressing a rally organized by Pakistan People's Party (PPP) International Affairs here on Tuesday. He said that Kashmiris would not accept division of the Himalayan region. Sultan observed that India was committing atrocities in occupied Kashmir for Kashmiris genocide. He said that military government only converged attention on Margalla Towers after October 8 earthquake that caused delay in reaching aid in Kashmir. He appealed to Kashmiris living abroad to provide financial assistance to quake-hit Kashmiris for constructing shelters for them.
