AJK will face the music

Islamabad: The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) will issue licences for the establishment of FM radio broadcast stations in 20 cities of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, sources said on Sunday. Sources said that PEMRA had invited expression of interest from incorporated companies in AJK for the issuance of local area-community-based licences to establish FM radio broadcast stations in the region. Licences will be given to establish broadcast stations in Muzaffarabad, Hattian, Athmuqam, Rawalakot, Hajira, Abbaspur, Bagh, Haveli, Dhirkot, Pallandri, Mirpur, Dudial, Bhimber, Barnala, Samahni, Kotli Fatehpur, Sehnsa, Poonch and Sudhnati.
