HM Not To Join Temporary Peace Process11 July 2005 The Pakistan Tribune
Srinagar: Hizbul Mujahideen Monday said it will not join any temporary peace process and said both chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Hurriyat Conference (A) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq are parroting peace slogans to befool Kashmiris. Hizb spokesman Junaidul Islam, in statement, said the peace process is a trap and a deception slogan. 'People are well aware about this conspiracy and are ready to fight it', he told KNS. Junaid said the present peace process is temporary and Hizb will not be any party to it. 'We will continue our fight for permanent peace. Kashmiris are offering their sacrifices for the resolution of Kashmir issue according to the wishes of its people', he said. The spokesman, meanwhile, claimed responsibility for Sopore attack and said some groups are taking credit of Hizb actions to get cheap publicity.
