3 hideouts busted in J-K, arms and cadre recovered

Jammu: Security forces have busted three hideouts, official sources said on Monday. Troops smashed a hideout in the Pir Bhera forest belt in Rajouri district and recovered 2.5 kg of explosives, an AK rifle, 40 rounds, a pistol, 17 hand grenades, one UBGL and two Improvised Explosive Devices on Sunday, they said. From another hideout in Kalakote belt of the district troops recovered one kg of explosives, 3 UBGL grenades, one UBGL, 12 grenades, 30 rounds and some detonators, they said. Troops smashed a hideout in Sanrot area in Surankote belt of Poonch district and recovered 19 detonators, 13 rifle grenades, a wireless set, 20 rounds and 5 IEDs on Sunday, the sources said.
