Militants laud Geelani for not going to Pakistan

Jammu: Four militant organisations Save Kashmir Movement, Al-Nasireen, Farzandan-e-Milat and Al-Arifeen have commended the decision of the hardline faction of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference not to board the bus to Pakistan. In a joint statement issued here by their spokesman Samiullah, they said that the decision of Syed Ali Geelani and his associates reflected their pro-movementideology and political maturity. 'Those leaders going to Pakistan will not achieve anything less than what Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah achieved after his accord with Indira Gandhi in 1975,' it said. National Front meet An important constituent of the Geelani-led faction, the National Front, met here on Monday to discuss the issue of visiting Pakistan. Its president Naeem Khan chaired the meeting in which the participants felt that the Pakistan Government's invitation should not be turned down.However, they agreed to go by the majority vote.
