Rawalpindi: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said Pakistan was not under pressure of America on the Kashmir issue. Talking to reporters here on Monday, Rashid said Pakistan would welcome the efforts of the superpowers if they sincerely wanted to resolve the bone of contention between the two South Asian neighbours - the Kashmir dispute. He said any solution according to the wishes and aspirations of the Kashmiris would be acceptable to Islamabad. 'The Kashmir issue is very serious and complicated, but President Musharraf's efforts for resolving it have made the superpowers think seriously about it and to come forward with new suggestions and solutions,' he added.
