Islamabad: The Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf, has urged Kashmiris, who have reservations on the peace process with India, to have faith in Pakistan and support the efforts wholeheartedly. At a meeting with leaders of the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) here on Monday night, Gen. Musharraf referred to differences among Kashmiris on the dialogue process with India and told them that it was an exercise aimed at the resolution of the issue. It is customary for Pakistan President to meet representative cross section of leaders of Kashmir under the control of Pakistan before a major interaction with India. Gen. Musharraf was reportedly told that the PoK leaders were worried at the prospect of the negotiations with India coming to an end. Gen. Musharraf assured them that India and Pakistan were serious about the current phase of negotiations and there was no reason for suspicions on the process.
