Alamgari Bazar Blast Toll 2

Srinagar: A person was killed and another arrested in two separate incidents across Kashmir during the last 24 hours. Police said the death toll in the grenade explosion at Alamagari Bazar has reached up to two after one more injured succumbed in the hospital. Identified as Khadim Hussian, he had received grievous wounds when militants attacked the National Conference rally at Alamgari Bazar on Saturday. Police said security forces apprehended an upper ground worker of Harkat-e-Jehad Islami at Dradihal, Kapran in Anantnag district and recovered 51 Mm mortar bomb from his possession. Miscreants, police said set ablaze cow shed of Kanta Lal at Raipora, Chander-Wadan, Achabal in Anantnag district. Security forces recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunitions from different hideouts raided during the last 24 hours across Kashmir.
