Top Hizb Man Arrested From Ex-MLA's House

Jammu: Security forces have arrested a top militant belonging to pro- Pakistan Hizbul Mujahideen outfit from the house of a National Conference leader in Jammu city, official sources said here today. On specific information about the presence of the militant, troops raided a house of a former MLA at Sidhra in the outskirts of Jammu city last night. During the raid, security personnel arrested the ultra identified as Maqsood, a resident of Gool in Udhampur district. The former legislator, who was member of the Assembly from 1996 to 2002, was not present in the House when security personnel raided his house, sources said, adding he had gone to his native village.
