Sayeed Meets Patil In Srinagar To Discuss Security Situation

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on Saturday met Home Minister Shivraj Patil who is on a maiden visit to the state and apprised him of the prevailing security situation in the state.Emphasising that the security situation is improving in the state, Sayeed said he gave his assessment to the Home Minister during his meeting. 'There is good atmosphere in the state and the talks process with Pakistan has had a good effect', he said. Asked about the attack on BSF camp at Sopore just hours before Patil's arrival, he said 'there is nothing unusual .… Tell me a single place in the world where such incidents don't take place at all. 'People take these things in stride and go on with their daily routine', he said. About Patil's talks with Hurriyat, he said 'I dont know. You better ask him'.
