Terrorists Storm BSF Camp In J&K; 2 Killed

Srinagar: One terrorist and a jawan were killed and three other security personnel injured when terrorists made an abortive bid to storm a BSF camp at Sopore in Baramullah district of Jammu and Kashmir in the wee hours of Saturday.At least two terrorists attempted to force their entry into a BSF camp near Fruit Mandi in Sopore at around 4.30 am by lobbing grenades and opening indiscriminate fire, BSF DIG Srinivas said. The BSF personnel retaliated and prevented the terrorist from entering the camp, Srinivas said. He added that in the exchange of fire one terrorist was killed, while three jawans sustained injuries. The other terrorist escaped during the encounter, he said.
