No Question Of Sell Out: Geelani

Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani today said nobody will be allowed to enter a sell-out on Kashmir. Geelani was addressing a gathering at the residence of slain Hizb commander Javed Ahmad who was killed by forces yesterday. Other separatist leaders including Malik Noor Mohammad Fayyaz accompanied him. Chairman of the Hurriyat faction pledged to persist with the struggle and take it to its logical conclusion. 'There is no question of entering into a sell out or allowing anybody to barter the interests of the state', he said. Geelani offered glowing tributes to Javed and said his sacrifice will bear fruit. 'This movement will be taken to its logical conclusion', he said. He also offered condolences with the bereaved family. The Hurriyat leader said it is the responsibility of leaders to respect the sacrifices. 'We should be willing to give sacrifices and achieve our goal', he said. Referring to the political situation, he said, New Delhi has given no indication of being sincere in resolving the issue. The realistic and sincere approach alone can yield result', he said. Meanwhile, a Hurriyat delegation led by Ghulam Nabi Sumji addressed gatherings at Ahhran and they condemned human rights violations.
