APHC, JKFM felicitate Pakistan on Independence Day

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement have congratulated Pakistan on the eve of Independence Day falling on August 14.   The Chairman of the All Parties Hurryat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, in a message, on the eve of Pakistan Independence Day has heartily congratulated the people and government of Pakistan.    In a separate message the Chairman of the All Parties Hurryat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has heartily congratulated the people and government of Pakistan.  He said, Pakistan has been consistently supporting Kashmiris cause, morally, politically and diplomatically.  The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of APHC, in a similar message, prayed for Pakistan's solidarity and prosperity of its people. The Chairman of Tehreek-e-Kashmir, Abdul Aziz Dar alias General Moosa in a message from Kot-Bhalwal jail, APHC leader, Naeem Ahmed Khan in a message from Kathua jail and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement, Saadullah Tantray, is a statement in Doda have expressed heartfelt gratitude for continued Pakistan's support to Kashmiris' cause.  Life will come to a stand still on Sunday all across occupied Kashmir due to total strike marking observance of Indian Independence Day as Black Day. The APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani has given call for the observance of the day to demonstrate to world community that Kashmiris will not yield to Indian subjugation. APHC spokesman in a statement in Srinagar strongly denounced stepped up Indian state terrorism ahead of Indian Independent Day. He pointed out that large scale checking is going on and people including women are harassed by troops during frisking in Srinagar and other major towns. Addressing Juma congregations at various places, the APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani and other APHC leaders urged India to give-up its intransigence on Kashmir issue and adopt realistic attitude. Those who addressed the congregations besides Syed Ali Gilani, included, Agha Syed Hassan Almoosavi, Hakim Abdul Rashid, Muhammad Yousaf Mir and Muhammad Rafeeq Ganai.   Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement Chairman and Hurriyat Conference's Vice Chairman, Saadullah Tantray congratulating the people of Pakistan on Independence Day on August 14 said that Pakistan not only occupied a significant place in the Islamic world but it is also looked upon by the people of Kashmir with extreme veneration and respect. Tantray in a message prayed that Pakistan may always remain prominent on the world's map like its green flag and it may gain a dominant stature in progress and prosperity. He appealed the people of Pakistan to remember their Kashmiri brethren while praying on their Independence Day.   AJK CHAPTER All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK chapter convenor, Mohammad Farooq Rehmani has sent separate messages of congratulations to President Pervaiz Musharraf and Prime Minister Chaudhary Shujat Hussain on the eve of Pakistan independence day. On this auspicious occasion he prayed for Pakistan's solidarity and prosperity of its people and hoped that Pakistan will succeed in meeting the world's challenges beside resolving Kashmir issue in accordance with the wishes of Kashmiri people.
