London: Syed Ali Gelani, Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference has said that Kashmiri people cannot trust those leaders who have damaged the Kashmiri movement. 'Kashmiri people have sacrificed nearly a hundred thousand lives in their freedom struggle and this movement cannot be left to these leaders at this crucial stage.' Mr Geelani made the statement during the course of conversation with Mr Mohammed Ghalib, President of Tehreek-e-Kashmir (UK). HC Chairman  said 'We wish to see the Hurriyet Conference  strong, and its doors are open for those who sincerely believe in the  movement and accept the fact that the  Kashmir issue is not a border dispute between   India and Pakistan. Neither Kashmir is India's internal part nor a bilateral issue.' Mr  Gelani said 'We are not against the dialogue between India and Pakistan. But since  Kashmiris are the real party in the issue, they have to be included in the dialogue  at a later stage. He rejected the dialogue between Sirinagr and Delhi which tended to present the issue as India's  internal affair.  And he added  'I make it very clear to those who wish to join the Hurriyet Conference that Kashmir is not integral part of India.' He said,  false statements calculated to  spread confusion 'that I am going to step down as chairman of  the Hurriyet'. He said ' those who are serious about the cause  have to accept my leadership and  work according to the wishes of the people, and as such they  are welcome in the Hurriyet  Conference. Mr  Ghalib assured Mr Geelani that  Kashmiris working at international level for the Kashmir cause have full confidence in Mr Geelani's leadership and wish to fully co- operate with him because of  his stand on the issue.   And they believe that 'you are not going to compromise on the sacrifices of the Kashmiri peoples'.
