Bijbehara: Indian police fired warning shots and tear gas to disperse hundreds of protesters in Indian Kashmir staging a brief but rowdy demonstration against the country's national election on Wednesday. 'We want freedom! No election!' the protesters shouted in the town of Bijbehara, in the sole Kashmiri constituency voting in Wednesday's fourth round of the five-stage national poll. There were no injuries and the town was peaceful but deserted after the rally was broken up.
