Anwar Rules Out Division Of Kashmir

Islamabad: Azad Jammu and Kashmir President, Sardar Muhammad Anwar Khan on Sunday dispelled the notion on division of Kashmir saying there is no roadmap on Kashmir issue. 'Neither a roadmap on Kashmir issue is introduced nor Kashmir is being divided,' he said talking to newsmen here. To a question he said Kashmiri people will not accept visa condition for Muzaffarabad-Srinagar bus service, as it is not in the interest of Kashmiris . In reply to another question he said Kashmir issue must be resolved in accordance with the wishes of Kashmiri people. 'Kashmir issue could not be resolved without the participation of Kashmiris in the talks process,' he remarked. Commenting on accountability issue, he expressed his ignorance on what grounds AJK Prime Minister issued statement on Accountability Bureau. He said Accountability Bureau should improve its performance and no one should be allowed to indulge in corrupt practices. He stressed the need upon a comprehensive planning for providing basic facilities to the people in AJK including health, quality education, and construction of roads, removing water problem and unemployment.
