Indo-Pak dialogue outcome of PDP efforts: Mehbooba

Jammu: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate from Srinagar-Budgam Lok Sabha constituency —Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjoora filed his nomination papers to the office of Deputy Commissioner Budgam today. Mr Hanjoora accompanied by his large number of supporters and Party workers in the shape of a rally moved to the office of DC Budgam to submit papers. After it, he proceeded to Chadoora for addressing a largely attended public rally. Speaking on the occasion Mr Hanjoora alleged that previous MPs of National Conference from this constituency for their petty benefits choose not to do anything which went against their bosses in New Delhi. They did not bother about the emotions and interests of their people and failed to do justice with the people. Party president Mehbooba Mufti while speaking on the occasion claimed that it was because of the honest efforts of PDP that the dialogue between New Delhi and Islamabad and Centre and separatists had started. She said PDP was committed to the solution of Kashmir problem as per the aspirations of the State. She informed that a large number of schools and colleges had been formed in every nook and corner of the Valley besides two more campuses of University of Kashmir. She claimed that PDP led Government provided more than 40,000 jobs to the people without anyone complaining of misdoings by officials. Minister of State for Power Javed Mustafa Mir, Tariq Hameed Qarra, Ghulam Qadir Pardesi and Nazir Ahmed Wani also spoke on the occasion.
