AJK Citizen Face Difficulties In Getting CNICs

Muzaffarabad: National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has made the new computerized identity card as obligatory for getting official documents, telephone, electricity connections in Azad Kashmir. According to details new computerized identity card would be obligatory for all official assignments and dealings including national banks, financial institutions and other government departments in Azad Kashmir as well . However, large number of population in Azad Kashmir is facing difficulties, as fifty percent people have still not received their computerized cards. NADRA Software Center Muzaffarabad is charging Rs 180 for urgent cards but the cards are being delivered after one-month time, citizen's complaint . Public who gather in large number at NADRA office to collect computerized national identity cards (CNIC) have demanded of the authorities concerned to ensure speedy provision of CNICs . End.
