Solution Sans Kashmiris' Consent To Be Resisted: Nawaz

Islamabad: Deposed Prime Minster Mian Nawaz Sharif Saturday warned that nation would not accept any decision made against the aspirations of the people of Kashmir . He stressed that resolution of long-standing Kashmir issue should be sought in line with the resolutions of United Nations, Simla agreement, Lahore declaration and Washington declaration . Sharif made this statement while talking to overseer chief organizer PML-N Sheikh Qaisar Mehmood by phone. He said that nation would not accept any comprise on the issue and termed immediate solution of the issue necessary for establishment of peace in the region. Improvement in Pak-India relations is not possible without settlement of the disputed issue of Kashmir, he said, adding that Kashmir came to the fore due to the sacrifices made by the people of Kashmir . PML-N's stance on the issue was unambiguous, claiming that it would not undergo any change, he said . Nawaz Sharif as well as former Chief Minster Shahbaz Sharif congratulated Qaisar on successful conduct of seminar on Kashmir .
