Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani has said that Kashmir issue can only be resolved either by tripartite talks or holding plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir. Geelani was addressing a public rally in Bijbhera, Anantnag. He said Kashmiris have been craving for the solution of Kashmir issue for the last 52 years and in this course nearly one lakh people have laid down their lives, Kashmir Times reported. He said New Delhi has to show some flexibility and take steps so that the issue is resolved according to the wishes and aspirations of people of Kashmir. Geelani said people of Kashmir should be given right to self-determination to determine their fate. 'If they chose to remain with New Delhi we will accept the verdict. And if they chose to go with Islamabad, New Delhi should accept it', he said. Lambasting the puppet chief minister Mufti Mohommad Sayeed for his healing touch policy, Geelani said the policy is 'hoax and an eyewash'. He said such policy is an attempt to hoodwink the people and the international community. Geelani pledged to continue their struggle and said no body would be allowed to play with the sentiments of Kashmiri people. He said in no case the sacrifices of the people would be allowed to go in vain. He warned that sellout of any kind or sort would not be allowed and people of Kashmir would confront such elements with iron fist.
