Qayyum For Mutual Understanding Between Jihadis, Political Leadership

Muzaffarabad: Azad Kashmir Muslim Conference head and former Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan has stressed the need for mutual understanding between Jihadis and political leadership of Azad Kashmir to strengthen freedom struggle . He was expressing his views on a resolution presented in the Azad Kashmir assembly to pay tribute to the former President Azad Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan here on Tuesday . He said that the Jihadis has still not recognized political leadership, which is causing irreparable loss to the freedom movement going on in Indian held Kashmir. Sardar Qayyum stressed for mutual understanding and harmony between the two parties . He appreciated the sacrifices and services rendered by late Sardar Ibrahim Khan for the freedom movement against Indian occupation. He informed that Sardar Ibrahim wanted Kashmir's accession with Pakistan and he had also demanded the representation of Azad Kashmir in Pakistan's assembly. He added that the people of Azad Kashmir believed in ideology of Pakistan and they were ready to give any sacrifice to protect this ideology. Azad Kashmir Finance Minister Shah Ghulam Qadir, Akhtar Rabbani, Minister for Industries Masood Khalid and Chaudhry Pervez Asharraf also expressed their view on the resolution. Earlier the law minister presented six draft laws and two bills in the house, which were handed over to the committees . These drafts, bills include, Azad Kashmir Justice system, Azad Jammu Kashmir public service amendment ordinance, and minimum wage for non-skilled people, press foundation act draft and draft law for establishment of welfare fund for members' assembly .
