India's Kashmir Committee To Visit Pakistan

New Delhi: A team of India's Kashmir Committee led by former union law minister Ram Jethmalani will be leaving for Pakistan later this week for a five-day visit during that includes a meeting with President Pervez Musharraf. Members of the team include veteran journalists Dileep Padgaonkar and M.J. Akbar, a statement of the India Kashmir Committee said. The team is scheduled to leave for Islamabad on August 9. During their stay in the Pakistani capital, the team will meet with Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali and Foreign Minister Khursheed Mohammad Kasuri. The team is also expected to meet the former chairman of the Pakistan Kashmir Committee, Sardar Abdul Qayyum, before returning on August 13.
