New Delhi: The Delhi police on Thursday arrested two activists of the Pakistan- based Jamiat-ul-Mujahideen with Rs 10 lakh which was allegedly to be routed to senior leaders of the Hurriyat Conference. Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, 70 of Hazratbal and Saifuddin Bhatt, alias Shatroo, 47, of Hayderpora were nabbed when they were waiting for an associate of Mr Syed Ali Shah Geelani, senior leader of the Hurriyat Conference, to hand over the money near Safdarjung Tomb on Wednesday, police sources said. Mr Geelani admitted that he knew Sheikh and Bhatt but denied the money was meant for him.
